BD back to EMA

A mate of mine gave me the nod with regards to BD mainline services returning to EMA ... at the moment it is just 3 rotations to BRU which he said was only likely to continue for the winter, but as he is less than an expert on BD I thought I would ask the experts to see if there is any chance of this being a year round thing.

I would have thought that a ERJ145 with a couple of folks paying full C and Y fares would have been a lot more profitable than a F100 with a whole bunch a low fare PAX on the BRU and AMS routes so maybe BMI are going to resume some services from EMA to the higher yielding cities.

CDG was suggested in this thread..

However both AMS and CDG are both well served by Low Cost Airlines (EasyJet in Luton and MyTravellite in Birmingham) which is where BMI would need to compete. An EMA link to Germany to a LH Hub may provide good business traffic and onward connections.

Will be interesting to see what happens...
