I keep getting this error on the select flights page:

Errors - please review the following item(s):
• Unfortunately the cabin you requested is no longer available for at least one of the flights listed below. (5003)

But it still lets me price through. Once. Can't replicate it. Grrr...

Be aware they only plan to fly there three times a week, so you need to get the fare on one of the flights where you fly direct. Also I think you need a saturday night stay, too?

Thanks Richardmannion, well spotted indeed!

I used the error message as a clue that the price might be available on that itinerary.

Still no joy.

If what's happened is that miles+cash redemptions have been loaded, I'd be wary about putting my DC number in the reservation... you might find your account a little light...

The error message above is just a red herring - one of the flight options presented is a code share, presumably Ted, so they can't seat you in business.

Is anyone still having success and not posting about it?

The moral of the story is: don't be fussy. Grab the first dates you see... *sigh*

Still, I'm not as upset as I would have been if they were miles-earning... (although I suppose one might try for credit on a *A partner).

I must give full credit to my colleague at work Ewan who spotted this when looking for a fare, he shared it with us at work so i thought it only best to share it here with you guys, and my other clan at v-flyer.com.

So any thank you beers need to be sent his way!

I have checked on www.checkmytrip.com and the booking is there in Amadeus, showing Business Class! ^

Thanks,
Richard

What to do now...?

Well, looks like Santa Claus have moved on now.

Assuming there are about six of us from FT who snagged this deal (ans as there are only about 15 viewing this forum right n ow I don't imagine it will be many more than that, unless people are being coy...

We should make sure we are clear on how to proceed.

Should we:
1. Call up BMI and confirm if they will honour the flights (didn't this happen on BA a few years back - I wonder what happened then?) Personally think it might be best to keep quiet until they cotton on in a few days time.

2. Are we covered by our credit cards online purchase guarantees?

3. I have no BMI Miles so they can't charge me those. At no point in the sale were miles mentioned. I can't see how they can deny me boarding at this stage.

We should all keep in touch and if any problems, a bit of publicity might even be a good idea!

Me too!

Hiyas

Lurker here!

I just got this offer as well, and have booked via the website for early Feb to Vegas.

3 other people in my team here at work have also booked for this offer (1 more to Vegas, and 2 to Chicago - so the offer is not just for Vegas).

I think we have to wait and see, and hope. A phone call might be a good idea, but I don't want to burst me bubble yet!

Well done for de-lurking, Heidster.

Any chance you can post the dates you've had success for? I must admit, ORD is more appealing...

Hiyas

8-17th February are my dates

It's worked as a nice B'day pressie for my other half, and also as a nice Valentines Day thing as well. Plus we were out there that time last year as well, so we know the weather is ok
