Minimum miles
Hi guys,
I’m still new whit BMI DC. I’m wondering if there is a minimum of miles to be credited.
For example on a short flight like ZRH-FRA on LH Booking Class U? Will only 0.5 of the flown miles be credited or is there a minimum of miles to be credited to my account?
Thank you and best regards,

Don't make any assumptions as a result of reading this - follow Oxon Flyer's advice. However, as a rule of thumb, any short European flight will earn 600 miles if the earning rate is 1x or 100% on Star Alliance member airlines or 800 miles on bmi operated flights. If the earning rate is 0.5 or 50% then you'll get half these amounts and in Business Class you will usually get double.

On LX, U earns 100% (so 600 miles).
On LH, U earns 50% (so 300 miles).
Operating airline applies, so it depends whether you're on an LH or LX aircraft, and I think it could be either on ZRH-FRA. And it also depends which fare bucket U maps into on each airline. Annoying, isn't it?
