Can any one tell me what's happening with BMI DC?
I cannot seem to redeem any of my miles for decent reward seats.
I cannot find any business class flights on any days between uk and USA or Canada.
Have even looked at LHR to BKK and SIN.
Nothing!!!
Nada!!!
Any day in October and November.
It never used to be this difficult did it?
ANy observations?

There's loads of seats on those routes.
It sounds as if you've been calling BMI and asking the ICC, aaaaagh. Or worse, using flybmi dot com. You can't rely on BMI to identify availbility.
Use the ANA tool to identify award availability - note that there's now a workaround where you start by asking for an ANA route then change to Star alliance award afterwards.
Only call BMI once you have the flight numbers ready.

Read the posts here on how to get award availability and on what airlines to take etc.
Read before complaining, please ! Otherwise tell us your facts.. which have been covered by the hundreds of posts here on the same issues.
There are no problems (with others) getting award spaces to anywhere anytime.

I think they've moved to making seats available last minute. I managed to get 2 returns x F LHR-ORD on the new config 763 a couple of weeks out. Great service btw, just back today and seriously impressed at the level of service plus you get arrivals lounge access. Agree that C availability in generally nil apart from the p.s services.

Not my experience at all - but it could relate to my rather late redemption booking pattern. Always getting decent availability on UA - with one small godforsaken and consistent exception... LAXLAS or vv - even with the lowest published fare buckets open, I find availability there extremely patchy, and never well in conjunction to whatever Intl flight I'm arriving on. But I can live with that
