How many miles is it from Lisbon to Salvador?

How many miles is it from Lisbon to Salvador?
Does anyone know the number of miles I should get for flying this route?
I received 2554 miles LIS-SSA but only 2012 SSA-LIS
A check on the timeanddate.com website shows it as 4030 miles each way.

http://gc.kls2.com/ - Great Circle Mapper shows LIS_SSA as 4025. So I guess that your SSA-LIS was a x0.5 earning leg. The LIS-SSA works out at roughly x0.63- so not sure what that could be.

How about two trips in booking classes that earn 0.5x miles, but one of them has a 25 percent elite bonus, and the other either doesn't (your status dropped in between, or hadn't gone up yet) or the bonus hasn't posted yet?

Thanks for all your ideas. I think I've worked it out. As suggested by holyflyer they must have been x0.5 earning legs and I think they have mistaken one leg as San Salvador, El Salvador instead of Salvador, Brazil. So looks like I got some extra miles for free.....can't complain
