Miles Validity
Hi, I have a question about the miles validity.
My last flight record bei BMI was in Apr. 2009, but I transferred e-rewards points to BMI in Sep. 2009. Does e-rewards point transfer belong to "third parties' activities"? Will my miles be valid till Apr. 2011 or Sep. 2011?
Tks.
Here is the T&C:
Members who have not recorded any activity with bmi, its Diamond Club partners, or made a redemption with the same parties and other promotional third parties, for a 12 month period, from the date of their last recorded activity on the Diamond Club database, shall be deemed dormant. If no claim is made on any residual Destinations Miles on that members account, membership may be terminated after a further 12 months and all remaining miles forfeited.

I will use e-reward to keep it active. Because I am concerned about BMI's future, I haven't used them since Apr. 2009. Um... it is just too unclear. I think I'd better burn all miles asap.

It was the account-year-end date that went AWOL, not the date of the last transaction on the account. It seems the account transaction "search" function won't let you look back further than 12 months, so if your last transaction was more than 1 year ago you'll have to make that call.

off the topic but don't wanna open a new thread.
I am flying from FRA to PVG soon. It is Air China with booking class L.
I have three choices and need your advice.
M&M (no status) for 100% miles + 0% Bonus (about 100,000 miles)
or
DC (Gold) for 50% miles + 25% Bonus (about 75,000 miles)
or
OZ (Diamond) for 50% miles + 10% Bonus (about 60,000 miles)
I am not going to keep DC Gold any longer. My OZ Diamond will last till end of 2011.
So my only question is: MM or DC?
Many tks in advance.
