Has anyone managed to book LHR- SIN - BKK as a straight zone 1 - 7 booking ?
Had a search but found nothing. My Guess is that it is a no go. |

Long time lurker here.
Say i wanted Z2-Z10 via Z7 and then home (on a different airline) Z7-Z1. I then wanted to dump the last bit of the first one-way. So booked say MXP-BKK(stop)-MAA, jumping out at BKK. Then home (on a seperate PNR) SIN-LHR. Should i be worried about them being able to cancel or anything else, my return journey. Can they/do they, do things like that? |

If you had been a lurker then you would know that this is seriously frowned upon here. Yes they will come after you for the missing miles and its not worth doing.
I've read these threads long enough to know that it's been done many, many times. Anyone have a definative answer? |

This was allowed for Z1 - Z4: LHR-YYZ(x)-EZE on AC in J
I'm being told this isn't a valid Star Alliance routing for Z4 - Z1: GRU-ORD-LHR on UA in F. It has to be priced as Z4-Z3 and Z3-Z1. Any advice. The former is longer than the latter! Last month I had no issue getting MUC-BOS(stop)-EWR-IAH-EZE.....but had terrible problems getting GRU-Z3-Z1. Took many many calls before I was allowed to book GRU-EWR(stop)-BER (not my first choice but was acceptable to me) |
I have never used BMI before :o but would like to say a nice goodbye to DC.
Is SJU-ORD-GRU and return (or similar SJU-XXX-Z4) still working? I know it used ot be fine, but I have seen comments like agents not allowing creative itins ! I have 0 miles, so I am going to purchase enough to do a cash & miles redemption, but need to make sure that it is allowed. thanks for the help |

LHR-BKK-SIN in fine (as 1 - 8) but with the other way you may find you are hit with backtracking...not going in the same direction rules
