OT: Differing ticketing statuses

Differing ticketing statuses

Apologies for the OT, however we have a wealth of ticketing related knowledge on this board in particular...

My question: Is it normal for an booking to show in one GDS with ticket numbers and in another without?

Detailed Scenario: I have made a booking with ebookers for flights with Pluna (Uruguayan airline) next month. I have an ebookers Travelport PNR (I think this was Galileo in days gone by), when I look this up on Viewtrip I can see reservation info and ticket numbers. I can also see a Pluna record locator, now, Pluna seem to use Amadeus, but when I plug the Pluna record locator into Checkmytrip, I can see the correct details of the booking but just not the ticket numbers i.e. it looks just like an unticketed BD redemption.

Is this normal?

Yes. Ticket numbers only usually show in the ticketing GDS system
