(Edit): Called Best Western and confirmed the rate is still 1000 points for $10 USD.

Hi all,
Due to the limit of 5000 points purchase during the promotion period my total points balance came up to 9400. So I am short 600 points only but the rep said they can't do anything and I need to have the whole 10000 points to redeem for a free night. Could you please tell me how I can get the 600 missing points. I do not have a Best Western credit card so I can't use that option?

Was also notified about the 5K purchase limit today from Best Western rewards via email:
"I wanted to make you aware you will only be able to purchase a total 5000 points between 11/1/17 and 1/31/18. This is due to the Best Western properties in North America will be 10000 pts per night between 11/1/17 and 1/31/18."
Unfortunately even with the credit card the points only post to your Best Western account once a month which means waiting up to 30 days after a purchase with the credit card for them to post.
