Anyone stayed at BW Presidential in NYC

I am staying in NYC in mid-July and was considering the BW in times square. My preferred hotel is the Hilton Garden on 8th a block away but noticed the rates were similar and this stay would qualify me for another free night certificate with their promo this summer.

Is the hotel nice on the inside? Looks dated on the outside. Was also wondering if people had any luck with upgrades as Diamonds there.

Last summer. What is your question?

If you are asking for BW Diamond benefits: Nothing at all! No late check-out, no upgrade, no welcome amenity, no other benefit.

Location is perfect if you want to stay near Times Square. But that's pretty much all I liked. The room was modern and very nice but one of the smallest rooms I ever had!

I would not visit this hotel again if there are alternatives for a similar price!

If you are referring to the BW The President, I have stayed there several times. The rooms are tiny, with a hip/modern motif in the decor. I do not recommend staying there during the hot season (~Jul-Sep), as the air conditioning units in the rooms are pitifully inadequate, even for such tiny rooms.

This property is a very good redemption value for points, given its location.
