Preferred Desk employee spoke to her Manager on cost for the C300 upgrade, apparently the MBs are more desirable and thus come w/ an upcharge. After saying no to a $98/day upgrade to the C300, the Manager put me in a 528i instead, which I gladly took

Got the dreaded "come see us" email upon landing. No full-size cars to be had. Given it was four people and a lot of luggage, she initially put me in that Compass from the Budget side.
My wife spotted the XC60 in the upgrade aisle and asked, "what about that one?" Given I was already using a good AWD code (corporate), $15 a day was a no brainer for a 3 day rental.
So far quite impressed with it even though it's stripped. Wife now wants one for her next vehicle.

Received: 2016 Ford Mustang Convertible. Only 2 of us and only 1 bag, they offered me the 'stang or a minivan. Can't complaint, it was fully loaded even with heated/cool seats and that eco-boost engine is sweet. Guy was pretty cool, let me go down to the lot and choose my color and car. Also had a Corvette for upgrade for like $200 lol.
