Important changes to AVIS FIRST in 2009
I just received an email from Avis - "Important changes to AVIS FIRST"

Effective January 1, 2009, the following changes will apply:
1. Avis First weekend rewards will now be earned after every fourth qualifying Rental.
2. Rentals that earn frequent travel rewards (i.e., frequent flyer miles or hotel program points) will not count toward the four qualifying Rentals required to earn your weekend rewards.

I think item 2 is a deal breaker for me... what are your thoughts??
