"Rate Code Is Invalid"
Recently I keep getting this error message after selecting a car from Avis.com.
For example for a 09/10-09/11 rental at LGA I'm getting a $52+ quote, but when I press continue I get the "Rate Code Is Invalid" message.
Even if I clear out the rate code (which I didn't enter in the first place) if automatically repopulates and I get the rate code error again.
I've called the CHM desk and their only suggestion is to make reservations over the phone.
Avis.com claims that they have no way to talk to people who actually know how avis.com works, and they generally insist that I talk to the CHM desk for help...
Suggestions?

Clearing the browser cache and deleting offline content seemed to fix things for me.
I've started to book everything through the CHM desk, more so to have little requests noted on the reservation. (IE: "No Town Cars" "Maybe something a bit sporty")
