Hi everyone.
Everyone and their moms are Avis First members. Company policy is that we can rent an intermediate, standard or full size vehicle. I get a one class upgrade with my company coupon and Avis First typically upgrades another class.
That's still well below the "cool car" - Corvette.
Sans President / Chairman club members, has anyone been able to get upgraded to a corvette or do you have to actually book it.

The Corvette is by far the most expensive rental in the Avis fleet. A quick check for LAX showed the Corvette available for $197/day + fees/taxes which brings it to $255/day
. There is also a 100/day mileage cap on that rate. I don't think you corporate discount would apply.
It would be easier to test drive one at your local dealer.

Which Covette models (okay, engines) are available or potentially available?
How about the 427ci Z06?
Might interest a few Aussies, given we will have a 427-engined sedan in the works here, soon.
Too bad about the no one-way restriction... I could see lots of LAX-SFO or SNA-SFO. I guess the 427 is exclusive to Corvette (aside from trucks?).
