How long to Post to Delta?
I don't see this listed anywhere via search, but I am sure someone has the answer. I am used to renting from Hertz, but recently switched to Avis..
How long does it typically take for miles from Avis to Post to FF programs (I am interested in Delta). I have had 3 rentals so far, as none have posted to Delta (one is almost a month old). My FF Number is clearly printed on the receipt and these are all Airport locations.
Thanks for the help!

Actually, in reviewing my statement, I think that Avis posts to Delta only on certain days of the month: 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th

I have seen the miles post in as little as five days or as long as twenty-five. A month is pushing it! By the way, it's possible--maybe a stretch with Avis, but possible--that one or more of the airport locations don't participate in this program.
By the way, I hope you have more luck that I did. I found Avis to be a real mess.

On the very first rental, the 100 miles posted first. For all the rest, I saw the MQM's before the bonus mileage appeared. I only receive 100 miles once; for all the others, I got 1,000 miles.

Switching from Avis
Only after having to fax numerous receipts (which I printed off of Avis.com) to prove they FF# was on the rental have I been able to get any mileage credit to post to DL. I was after the MQM's and none of those have posted. Since it's only 4k, and I won't need them to requalify for Platinum next year --- to heck with it.
I've decided, based on numerous negative experiences with no cars ready, dirty cars, hidden surcharges, not getting FF credit without a fight, etc., it's time to move on to Hertz.

It being the 24th, my rentals from last week posted today. I did not get the 1000/1000/1000, but believe that is tied up in program issues that caused excess credit for some renters. I'll expect those miles and MQMs to post once all the issues are resolved. I did not get credit for the rental I'm driving or the one I turned in yesterday. Probably 9/3 for those.
