A co-worker has a free week certificate. am i able to use it?

I dont see why not

I would accept it. But thats just me. I would look at the certificate at checkout and make sure it doesnt say "non transferrable."

if it says that, most locations wont do it.

so thats a negatory? i dont want to chance it because ive reserved through payless which is considerably cheaper than avis for the week ill be in vegas. aug 1-5

try and use it. if they accept it and you leave with the car..they cant go bakc and charge you. Avis does not charge "no show" fees. Or at least at all the places I have worked.
