Avis SUVs?

Hey guys... I'm usually a Hertz renter, so I'm not up on the fleet at Avis.

Here is the deal. I'm renting a car a HPN and dropping at PHL. Hertz wanted nearly double for the drop off at PHL for a Standard SUV. Hence, I tried Avis and they were much cheaper for the same vehicle. However, I'm not sure if the Avis SUVs are indeed 4-wheel drive like the Hertz SUVs? Can anyone help me out on this?

Avis seems to have a lot of the previous generation blazers on hand (at all stations) - they do have the 4wd feature but it might be smaller than what you were looking for.

I have been given Blazers, Azteks and a Rodeo by Avis. I never noticed whether any of them had 4WD. They never give them to me in the winter.

I just turned in a 2004 AWD Buick Rendevous and now have 2005 Explorer 4X4. Both came from Avis PHL.

The best Avis SUV is the Olds Bravada. All leather, nearly an Escalade.

Yes. But they don't have them anymore.
