Bad IAD Return Experience
Just wanted to warn folks who may be thinking of using Avis at IAD that the car rental return is not covered. During Friday's rainstorm, the wait to return a car was around 8 minutes. The clerks were not offering umbrellas, and everyone was totally drenched. The actual clerk who processed my return offered me an umbrella while he checked me in, but then took the umbrella back, leaving a long walk to the bus.
Then, there was around one bus in a 15 minute time frame. Finally had to walk inside and demand they roll another bus as everyone wouldn't fit in the first one.
As many were remarking, Avis was clearly not Trying Harder on Friday.
