Does anyone know of any dicount codes for a 2-day weekend rental in London for September? I've had great discounts with D005927 before but it no longer works! :(

I am booking Brussels for this week and noticed that D087633 does not provide any meaningful discount anymore. Used to be 40%. The above code does (from EUR 120 base to EUR 76 for 2 day rental). But it gives me the "incompatible AWD code warning".

Discount Codes in France

Looking for a two or three day rental of an intermediate vehicle, with pickup in downtown Paris and return to CDG, in late September. Here's what I found using the AWD's listed:

2-day rental --

D005297, D005150, D087633, & A674600: 198.06 EUR all in.
A432123: 157.40 EUR all in.

3-day rental --

D005297, D005150, D087633, & A674600: 204.19 USD all in.
A432123: 171.80 USD all in.

So, AWD432123 gives the better rate in both cases, and a three day rental is cheaper than a two day!

WARNING: DO NOT use Avis C03___9 AWD discount code anymore. I got a
very reliable confirmation from an inside guy that this code is black
listed now. Effective immedately, all benfits associated with code are
removed(including free LDW insurance), anyone use this code will pay
maxiumum rack rate regardless of reservation or website showing rate as
well as company ID must be produced. A warning flag has been raised on
this AWD and most likely you will be questioned about where you got the
code. All in all, this code is nothing but trouble from now on.

Oh well, it was great while it lasted.

My good Chairman member, don't you know Marquis Jet AWD when you see one? Aren't you jetting around in one right now? :p

Great find! The key is the 3 days. Same thing in BRU.

Avis discount code in Italy

For the past 2-3 years I have been using D005591 and D005927 for Avis car rental in Italy for anything between 3 day rentals and 3 week rentals. I always received 40% discount with these codes. I need to rent cars in October and November and these codes now only give a 10% discount. Does anyone have any new codes, as I rent in Italy about 8 per annum?

DUH!

I never use the MJ code, my own corporate code always does just as well and that's what my profile defaults to.

In fact, in this case my corporate code should be pulling the same rate with unlimited miles while this one is only offering 100 miles/day. Weird.

Doesn't seem to work for London pickup and LHR return for a 2-day weekend rental in September? :(

K444404 - Good Rate, however, I'm experiencing the milage limitation also.

USE CAUTION - 100 Miles and NO MORE - otherwise + $.28 per mile!

gleff Aug 31, 2007 5:07 am

I guess 'cause they figure anyone using it will fly private for distances > 100 miles? :p

For renting in Germany in gets you a Premium car for as low as 232,07 Euros , unlim kilometers and CDW and TP incl. for 7 days.
For Fri - Mon weekend rental its al mere 93,59 euros. (same conditions as above). Country of residence: Germany, all others get "stupid" prices!! Reffering to K444404 AWD!!

The A432123 seems to do better in Spain ( AGP )too . Rate for a weekly Medium Compact without AWD £ 142 and with 432123 £ 106.50.

So, has anybody else used this AWD? ID required?

Seems that AVIS has cut down all the good codes (ASAP, Schneider Publishing, Marshall etc).

Awd D0059027

A quick thank you and to confirm that I have just completed 7 days in the Algarve (Faro) using D0059027 to get 40% discount on a Group N car with no problems or questions..

And by joining the Avis Prefered program before I went, they bent over backwards to look after me and get me out the door quickly, beating the queues and got a free upgrade to a car with GPS..

Very impressed, thanks!
