I have a friend who has a corporate CDP for Avis and I'm renting a car from Avis. Can I use his CDP code and rent the car? He will also be on the contract as an additional driver? Is this allowed? Can there be any insurance issues? Note that I already have my personal non owners insurance for liability, and Chase Sapphire to cover collision damage.
Alternatively, if the above could be a problem. Can he be the primary driver and pay by his Chase Sapphire card for collison damage (and me added as an additional driver). As far as liability insurance goes, will my personal policy still protect me or will his auto insurance policy be affected in case something goes wrong. |

Any codes that have the coveted free or discounted one way charge for international locations?
|
Is it YMMV based on agent/location on asking for proof/verification for using a AWD code? Or is there strict rules on which one they ask for?
For example, Amazon employee code (D008400) gives a great discount but it asks for corporate email address when booking. Citigroup leisure code (A074800) does not ask for corporate email address but the rates are not so great (still better than anything else except Amazon D008400). Are they both equally risky asking for proof? Or is it safe to assume citigroup wont require id? Thanks |

I can usually get great rates from Avis, Budget, and Hertz on sedan rentals using my alma mater's leisure rate code. I do have an alumni email address with the alma mater's domain name, but I also bring a certified copy of my transcript along -- showing conferral of a degree -- when I rent, to prove my status as an alumnus if asked. The rate codes which alumni can use tend to be limited to those from private colleges/universities. |

I would not make any such assumption.

Mine does not have Avis. And I specifically want Avis due to the ability to stack Amex offer

OK. But just make sure that Avis with your stacked offer yields a better deal than your alma mater rate without the Amex offer. ;)

If you have Amazon Prime you get Amazon Benefits. Very good rate plus 10% back in the form of a Amazon gift card. This is not an employee corp rate.

Does anyone know this code?
B257500 It was already populated when I made a booking but the price was crazy good. I would like to believe that it’s some sort of marketing code since I didn’t enter it myself but I also don’t want to risk any disputes. Can anyone help? thank you! |

Hi, did you ever find out what this code was for? I recieved the same code on a rental automatically when I was intending to use Amazon Benefits for the Prime Day deal. This is the only reference to this discount I could find online.
The rate is OK, but twice the price of some corporate rates. |
