one-way from EWR or nearby local edition to Pittsburgh airport

Getting drop-off fee of $150 or 0.12 cents per mile.

Anyway to reduce the above fee or mileage requirement?

thanks.

The only ID required is....drum roll please....a Costco membership card. Will they ask for it in Austria? Probably not since Costco doesn't have any locations in Austria, but they can.

K250544

I tried this just now on the AVIS website and it still shows underage fee waiver.

Can anyone confirm if they have been able to use this code recently? If so, were you asked for corp ID?

I am looking to do a rental in the SF bay area for a weekend in early September.

Thanks for the link.

I saw that, it's a fairly old post dating back to '05 though.

Looking to see if anyone has recent experience with this - 12 years is a long time.

Why not this one ? A552300 ? Its escape with visa code, no corp ID needed and much better prices than K250544

Not going to find out for another few weeks, unfortunately. Hopefully!

My discount area code does have a "Rate Code: IQ". Does anyone know what that signifies?

Kinda like fare buckets at airlines. Avis has different codes that the reservations fall into. There are a plethora of them that I've seen, but:
1. I don't know how to correlate a rate code to anything (other than my corp code shows the same RC all the time; weekend rate code is sometimes the same; etc.)
2. I don't know how to "force" a rate code, so I'm not sure why Avis has a box for user input.

Hi all,

desperately need help getting an Avis discount code for 31st July to 1st August in Germany. Would anyone be able to assist?

Also, some other questions.

-If I opt for the "pay now" option, I get charged for the rental for the entire rental and insurance options, correct?
-Does Avis still eed to swipe my credit card and block a certain amount depending on make/type of car rented upon pick up for other costs that I need to be aware of?

I am a Malaysia Airlines Enrich Member. Thanks!

You might want to try the quote link below and see if it's any better than the prices you've been finding.

As for the "pay now" question, you will be charged for the full price of the rental up-front. As for whether you will be charged for insurance or not depends on whether you are booking an insurance-inclusive rate or not. Some rates do include coverage while others do not. Oftentimes it has to do with what your home country is set to on the website. You definitely need to pay attention during the booking process if you are in need of insurance.

Avis will need to swipe your card (or if you're an Avis preferred member they will already have it on-file). They will often take a hold equivalent to around 200 USD/EUR on the card as well to cover any incidentals.
