Can’t view reservation on app or website. Error message every time
“We cannot process your transaction at this time”
Anyone here dealt with this before. Avis customer service claims my account and reservation is active but I’ve been getting the same error message for months.

suddenly having the same issue via app. have deleted and reinstalled and cannot sign in any longer. online via website no prob.
anyone else have this issue and resolved it? would rather not waste time with a call

I have been getting something like this for a few days now. I can get the Avis website to work, but the moment I sign in to my account I get an error. Can’t make any bookings at all.
ADDED: I have tried deleting all cookies and history, using a different machine from a different IP, using a VPN in a different country, using different browsers, using the iPhone app. Nothing makes any difference. I made two bookings by phone yesterday and the agent said they could see nothing strange marked on my account.

This problem now seems to have been resolved. I spoke to Avis over the phone a couple of weeks ago as that was the only way I could make a recervation. They said they had had numewrous complains about the problem and that they were working on it.
