Oh man, I've been slacking on this thread this year:

Location: CH1 (downtown Chicago)

Offered/Received: Cadillac XT6

Location: DTW

Status: Preferred
Location: Orlando Int'l Airport (MCO)
Booked: Full size sedan
Offered: Intermediate SUVs and full sizes through website (Buick Encore, Chevy Malibu, GMC Terrain)
Received: 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee (went to counter)

Usually I am offered pickup trucks which are my preference, but was happy to get a nice little upgrade nonetheless. The grand cherokee is a nice car to drive, I just wish Avis cleaned their cars better on the interior though.

I agree- I had one in DEN a few years back for a ski trip... The heated + massage seats were welcomed after a day of falling on my a** learning how to ski again.

Status: PC
Location: FLL
Booked: intermediate
Assigned: 2024 Nissan Altima
App: "null" SUV (2024 Kia Sorento), "null" full-size sedan (2020  Subaru Outback), "null" 2023 Chevrolet Malibu, "null" 2024 Chevrolet Equinox, "null" 2023 Nissan Maxima (50k miles!), "null" 2024 Chevrolet Blazer 2LT 2.0
Received: nothing, canceled

After I canceled, they assigned me a 2024 VW Taos  and the app is showing all kinds of swaps for free. A 4Runner, a Ford Edge, a Cadillac XT5... that almost got me out of bed lol.

Why do you write in white letters?

I use dark mode and put the letters in automatic...or so I thought.

FWIW I opened a thread in the tech support forum.

Back on topic... should've taken the Cadillac while I had a chance. Now I need a car :(

Had the same thing happen with the below. No specific cars, just generic categories. Avis IT is as bad as AA's...

Status: PC
Location: MCI
Booked: Intermediate
Offered: Dodge Durango
Received: Same

Seeing how the app was glitching I just took the Dudge. Not bad, heated seats AND steering which was nice as it was pretty cold.

I've had two Durango R/Ts this year and it's quickly become one of my favorites as they're generally nicely equipped and have plenty of power (but still manage to do decently on gas).

Status: PC
Location: DTW
Booked: Intermediate SUV
Assigned: N/A
Offered in app: Jeep wrangler PHEV, Nissan Rogue, Durango RT, (I think) Grand cherokee, a few other no-name mid-sized SUV's
Accepted: Durango RT

First durango had a few warning lights, second one reeked of weed. Tried to see if there were any Yukons/wagoneers/etc. Available the third time I went back to the preferred desk- got a third Durango

Fun ride, would rent again as long as gas is cheap

I also liked the Durango despite it being a heifer... it was the R/T with I'm asuming a V8, and it seemed to get better mileage than the 4-cyl "EcoBoost" Ford Edge I had a few weeks ago. It was also a lot smoother and defiitely more punchy without sounding like ball bearings in a blender like most of those 2.0 turbo fours that's in almost everything.

Offered a F150, but ended up with an Edge as didn't want a pickup

Is there a 2025 thread yet?
