Morocco experience?
Did an unsuccessful search here so starting a thread to ask if anyone has used Avis in Morocco lately (or at all)?
Planning a trip in September and may do one or two car rentals. Questions are general experience, automatic availability when booked (highly prefer no manual cars), whether or not the local Avis runs nickel & dime scams on dents/scratches, and if anyone hope of upgrade based on PC.
Thanks!

I did a rental with them back in 2019 in Marrakech, there wasn't anything unusual or nitpicky. But I don't know about the availability of automatic gearbox cars since I always just reserve class B/compact rentals. The rental I got was in good condition.
Even being experienced in driving in various countries around the world, I would say driving in urban centres is quite difficult so I can't recommend hiring a car unless you plan to do most of your driving inter-city (but there are trains too).
