Can anyone suggest how I could get AVIS offer attach to my AMEX Platinum? I happen to not see it among the 98 other offers available in my AMEX account

Very few of the AmEx offers are guaranteed. I'm not sure what algorithms AmEx uses to determine who gets what, but I think you'd have to ask AmEx for it.

i dont know the method to the madness of what offers AmEx extends to which customers- ive had the Avis offer on mine for a while now, and used one of the $75 rewards. Worth messaging the AmEx ppl who are usually v helpful

A quick question: does this offer apply to both "Pay Now" and "Pay Later" rentals?

Everyone doesn't get all or the same Amex Offers. Unfortunately you didn't get the offer among any of your Amex cards. I got it on my Platinum only, Gold, or Delta didn't get it.

doesn't matter, as long as your card is charged before the expiration date of the offer. I don't like doing "pay now" because of the $50 cancellation fee. Unless your saving a huge amount from paying now but if you use AWD codes then it won't matter.

Thanks! There is a 20% discount with Pay Now.

There is no refund though. If the rental price drops (unlikely but possible), you have no recourse.

I enrolled into 150 offers. Now 45 remain available, but none is AVIS. Any further action?

Is your Amex platinum opened prior to Nov 1 2020? There is a bunch of offers (Home Depot/Dell/Samsung) only for their members.
