Presidents Club UK Upgrade on 28 day rental
Can someone clarify - if a rental is more than a certain length no upgrade is given?
Recent experience at CWL they tried to sell me a 1 cat ug when I was under the impression it was 'guaranteed' from their literature ?

I use Hertz and Avis about equally. Neither delivers consistently on "guaranteed" upgrades, though Hertz do slightly better than Avis.
If Avis do an upgrade, it's often a non-upgrade. Example, I'd booked a compact (Focus). Told I'd been upgraded - got a Focus. Upgrade?? It was an "upgrade" because it was in a higher Avis group, as it was a model with factory fit nav....
