I get the same message. "The rate code you entered requires a discount number" . The rate code shows "WH". And nowhere to enter the discount number to complete the reservation.

Anyone know the origin of this code: D467000 ? I see it posted on a lot of deal sites and wondering if it's safe to use. In my reservation email they included this notice: "This reservation was made using a corporate BCD (Budget Customer Discount Code) that requires validation of eligibility. Please be prepared to produce your company ID, business card, or a recent email with the company’s email domain for employment verification purposes when picking up your vehicle."
The code is saving me over $200 compared to Costco or my Union Plus discount. |

Thanks very much. I just wanted to make sure that code R524190 was not going to pose a problem. I can rent for a week at RSW in April for $209.10 all in. The S341840 came out higher on this rental. I appreciate your help. Best of luck.

OK... so what BCD code IS THIS? R524190
This gives a huge discount... close to 75% on some of the "normal" car categories. |

Has anyone used the UT code R524190 recently? It's a University of Texas code. Getting great rates, but says will check ID and no FB. Wife is an alumni, but I assume it's employee-based.
Edit: Should have read above...I see now. Seconding the above questions! |
I'll be attempting to use it at the end of the month. We'll see what, if anything, they ask for. But then again, YMMV based on airport and employee.

Anyone know the origins of this BCD - A161400? Gives a pretty decent discount but it does come with the "This reservation was made using a corporate BCD (Budget Customer Discount Code) that requires validation of eligibility..."
Thanks |
I'm curious about R524190, as well. I have been using this code for a decade now, and have never been asked for ID. However, my latest rental confirmation e-mail for an upcoming trip had that "This reservation was made using a corporate BCD" verbiage at the top, which had never been included before (I checked all of my previous confirmations). My rental is at a FastBreak location (OGG).
Edit: I should not that it's not the rental confirmation that includes the verbiage, but the rental reminder (trip is in a few weeks). |

Did RSW ever ask for verification? I wanted to use that code but don't want to be denied and have to pay that days rate.
