My experience in the Netherlands says you will get a ticket sent to the address on your drivers license that Avis has on file. But that is with a US drivers license. Is your Polish? It might be different and go straight to the Polish DL agency, which I am sure I cannot pronounce or spell!

Got an update, got 2 letters from Avis Germany saying I got 2 parking/speeding violations during my rental, both Avis charged my CC 30 euros for administrative costs. It said in the letter that I will receive my speeding violation letters within 3 months
