Avis Programs

I am not aware of any avis program that offers free days or status above preferred member. I am having a hard time finding anything on their website except for corporate customers. All my rentals are personal as I expense to the company.

I have over 15 rentals with Avis this year and have not received anything other than my aeroplan points. In some instances I have to fight for these.

Is there anything I should know about or should I embrace my Hertz Club Gold membership?

Stinger I do the exact same thing.

I use the Small Business Program at Avis and get 1 free rental certificate for each paid 15 days in rentals.

I am new to Hertz but this is their program and it includes a fee waived #1 Gold Memebership application.

If you have any questions drop me an email as I am a Canadian as well and can share my experiences with you.

Here in France, we have the good program
''Mille Merci'' from Avis France, that gives you points for each rental
(for instance,
5 days in category 1 is around 140 points, and 200 in category C)

and you have 2 years to use your points,

1200 points for a 2 days week-end in A, etc...

That is rather nice and convenient, BUT

You gain points and may use them ONLY in France.
I do not know if your adress need to be in France for that, but I suppose that too.

It is a pity that such a programm does not exsit all over the world, as it is easy with it to get free rentals.
