Washington DC (DC2) Problems?
Has anyone else besides me received horrible (or apathetic) treatment from the DC2 (M Street) location?
It's about two blocks from my apt but their rudeness and incompetency has forced me to go to the airport for cars.
They use this antiquidated system and ask for my license & cc every time, despite reserving through Preferred Select. Cars are never ready. They won't recognize Preferred Select status either. The average time to rent a car is 20+ minutes. I've complained to corporate before but it doesn't seem to make a difference, they just chuck a couple of coupons in the mail.
What gives? Why is there such inconsistencies when renting from Avis?
