so I finally called about it the other day and was told it's by invitation only. I've rented more than ten times this year, but apparently I'm not invited. pbbbth.
at MCI I almost always get an upgraded to a full-size car lately. can't figure that one out, other than MCI is my most frequent rental location.
oh and thanks to the people at BNA who honor my requests for an intermediate with a six. driving through the Tennessee hills in a 4-cylinder Grand Am (all flash, no go) is painful. I'll gladly take a blah-looking Malibu with a V6 over a Grand Am which all seem to be 4-bangers.

The Malibu is actually a full-size car (though the one time Avis tried to pawn one off on me as a full-size I asked for something else!).<font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2">Originally posted by born sleepy:

one car I've liked a lot is the Hyundai Stigmata or whatever with the V6 (but not the 4). powerful and smooth and the controls are actually legible unlike the disaster in most GM cars. "wot's this button do?" *blamg*
the Mitsubishi ... Galactica? is also pretty nice even with a 4. GM cars are dull as dirt.
beebeep!
