First Time Renter! Need help!
Hello,
I've been looking to rent an intermediate car for 4 days and i am under the age of 25. However, I've called my local avis and said that theres a student discount and my underage fee will be waived. I got a quote for an intermediate car for approximately $114. Is that cheap? I've been looking through the discount codes page and I would like to know if I can use any of the codes there to lower my cost of renting a car. And also, do you need to verify or show ID when using those codes?
BTW im from california US

Concerning mileage, rentals of "normal" (economy-fullsize) cars are typically unlimited mileage provided you're returning to the same location where you rented, but the best way to make sure is to look up your current reservation on avis.com, there you will be able to see whether or not a mileage fee applies.

$114ai for a 4-day intermediate rental is a pretty darn good deal, I doubt you'll be able to get it much lower with any publicly available discounts, chances are that adding one to your reservation will recalculate your base rate to the point where it's more expensive than your current rate.

thanks for clarifying everything and everyone for the feedback! i've checked out hertz and can only find one coupon code to waive my underage fee. other than that the price was pretty steep. im also not a AAA member or any other kind of member to get more discount. ;/ ill probably just stick with my original plan from avis.
once again. thanks alot for the help! ^^
