Avis Website Down
On May 31, from early AM EDT, the Avis Website has been acting strange. You get to log in but cannot modify a reservation or you log in and then it logs you out, etc. etc.
Finally at 3:30 PM EDT, the following message was posted:
"Avis.com is currently undergoing maintenance. We apologize for the inconvenience however we invite you to use our auxiliary system to make your reservation. If you wish to review or update your profile, you will need to come back soon."
The resv system, at avis.com, now re-directs to carrental.com which is a site owned by the Avis Budget Group.
I hope that they fix the Website so that we won't have to log in two to three times for every session !!
