Rate higher when logged in?

I keep getting a higher rate when I am logged and the AWD I enter does not take. I do not have a default AWD on my profile either. What am I doing wrong? Ideally, I'd like to be able to enter the AWD number and get credit for the rental towards my account.

Been a while since I rented from Avis (1+ years), but I recall having the same problem. Believe the workaround was to book the reservation, including AWD, leaving off your Avis FF number. After you make the purchase, then go back in and apply the FF number. Does that work for you?

That sorta worked. I had to call Avis to get them to do it. Not ideal - would love to do it on the website.

ha, I have this problem with Hertz but not with Avis

Known issue.

I always book using my AWD without entering my Wizard number and then just call up or email them to get it added as the OP did.
