Question TACA seating

I am going to fly GRU-LIM-SJO-SAL-LAX on A320/321. Can't find anything on seatguru.com, can someone advice me for best seats?

As I can't supply you the answer with what the best seats are, I can tell you the seats themselves are horrible! I have done the LAX-SJO-LAX flight twice now. The first time was in economy and I swore I'd never ride in the back again! The second time I upgraded to the front cabin and the seats were of course much better. The economy seats have absolutely no padding! I couldn't even believe it. TACA's flights were fine, on-time, etc. and I would fly them again if it were not for those horrid seats. Okay, enough ranting. Maybe someone else can really answer your question!

I am on the LA029 tonight, and I just called their call center to confirm that flight was on time etc. Really sweet girl answered all my questions, informed me that food costs USD5, and bla bla. What surprised me was that she told me I had to be at the airport three hours before. The flight is 6.10 am, and I am staying at an airport hotel, so I was planning to get up at 4 am or so, but now I don't know if I should go to bed at all! But if seat are as horrible as you claim, I guess it won't be possible to sleep on board??
Well, I will post a flight report after my first leg...

Any other TACA experiences out there? Anyone fly them from IAD? I'm looking at booking a IAD-SCL flight and for the dates I am looking at they are charging a little less than $850 all in for coach, 1300 for business. It looks like the US airlines are charging about 1100 for the cheapest coach ticket.

Almost makes me want to try business for the first time.
