Change of Class
My wife and I booked a First Class award on Thai Airlines using our LifeMiles. Unfortunately, while the flight BKK-LHR was First, the connection from LHR-EWR was Business, but what can you do?
It gets way worse! WIthout receiving any notice, while checking our seat assignment the other day, we found out that the flight has been downgraded to Business. Thai First and their lounge are supposed to be wonderful, while Business is just OK. Besides, we spent miles for First and aren't getting it. I've talked to two agents already at Avianca and finally got sent to the "correct" extension but have been on hold for a long time. Nobody seems to understand what I am saying.
I should be able to void the entire transaction, change without fee or penalty or at least get a refund of the difference between miles for First and for Business.
Any idea how to handle this?

Is there a service which works for you and does have F? If so, you should be rebooked onto that. No guarantees that TG will OK it, but it is worth a try.
After your trip, you should make a claim for a refund of the mileage difference if you have not been able to find anything in F.
