2-for-1 deal on LifeMiles
I've been hoping to find decent biz r/t ATL to CAI without much luck
Today on OMAAT I see that there is the possibility to buy Avianca Life Miles at half price. Normally I'd shy away buying miles, but I can use these on Star Alliance airlines, and I found an excellent outbound flight available and a so-so return without looking too hard. To purchase the number of miles I'd need would cost $2244, which seems like pretty good price for a r/t biz ticket. Plus charging to Amex Plat gives 11K MR as a bonus.
