Avianca Changing Fare Classes
I booked a ticket on AV back in March for travel next month and purposely paid extra for regular Econo (not Super Promo) in order to earn 100% miles. My flight was booked in W class. Based on the LifeMiles earning page for Avianca, it seems to me that W class is now a Super Promo class and many *A programs have cut earning in W to 25%. Can I ask them to rebook me in a class that is Econo since I paid extra for it or am I SOL?

Is your fare class still W? Or has it been upgraded along with their fare class changes? If only the full miles are the most important, I would wait and see what is posted to your account and request mileage credit if necessary. You have 12 months to request credit.
