Problems with paying with Amex
Does anyone else having a problem when you pay for extra miles? I tryed serveral times to buy (double) miles with serveral Amex cards and they don't work :-(

And this promo is ending tonight.

I have the problem so I used my mastercard but I am pretty sure I was able to buy miles using Amex a couple of months ago...

I also had a problem paying with my card on Wednesday.
I called amex and agent could see the (refused) payment, which was suspicious for they system and therefore blocked. She flagged the merchant as safe and I could buy miles right after the call.

Had this problem a few days ago. Transaction had been flagged by Amex. A quick call resolved the issue. I tried again and the purchase went through just fine.

I live on the US west coast. I ran into problems with Amex only when I tried to buy miles at night. Transactions went thru just fine during the day.

Problems with paying with Amex
Couldn't use AMEX at all, used the MasterCard I have linked to the AMEX and it worked first time. Now have 150K miles
