On a Star Alliance award booking confirmation page, it says (emphasis mine):
When refund is made within the validity period through the online ☞ No fee is charged.
When refund is made offline within the validity period ☞ USD 30 will be charged (or3,000 miles will be redeemed) per a re-issuance.
Does that mean I can cancel online for free?
