Guest Booking Password

So, I made the mistake of buying a ticket on the flyasiana.com website, and now I want to cancel it (no longer traveling). Fare is refundable for a fee, but when I go to the website and successfully locate my reservation, in order to cancel it (or even to change it), it is asking for the "guest booking password." I have no idea what that would be, I do not recall entering a password when making a guest booking. Any ideas?

Calling the US call center number is pointless, once you've gone through the phone tree, it says "we have extremely high call volume, call again later" and it disconnects you. As a last resort, I sent them a message through the "Voice of the Customer" link on the website, describing the problem and giving them the information, and they got to me within 12 hours with a resolution and a refund, so that worked out OK.

If you know Mandarin and you are in China, Asiana's China customer service (which is 400-650-8000) is approachable and helpful. They help me refund my ticket without requiring that stupid passcode.

I recently had to get Asiana to cancel an online booking that was submitted to an unwelcome schedule change. The usual cancellation process wasn’t functioning.

You can reach them to make the cancellation using this online portal (same outcome as PICKLES)

https://m.flyasiana.com/C/KR/EN/customer/voc

It will take a few working days but you should get a resolution within a week.

I’ll keep this up and hopefully it will save someone else from spending money and frustration languishing on hold (useless phonecall)
