Asiana or Eva business to Asia?
I am booking an award trip to Taiwan with an option either Asiana OZ 235 (ORD-ICN), then to TPE or EVA BR 11 (LAX-TPE) in business.
I am wondering which one is better in terms of seat comfort and meals? OZ 235 is B777-200 and BR11 is B777-300.

OZ 235 is the lie angled seat, I don't know much about BR.
In terms of the soft products, I'm guessing that OZ is better than BR from what I've read around here. Personally, I've only flown them in coach, and OZ coach is better than BR coach only marginally. The food is about the same if you choose Western option. If you choose Korean option (OZ) vs Chinese option (BR), then it all boils down to taste.
The nice thing about BR is that you don't have to change flight to regional business, but ICN IS a nice airport.

BR blows away OZ. C on the 777 is reverse herringbone, full flat. Pre booking of meals is an option and the champagne is Dom Perignon. Rimowa amenity kits as well. Plus there is the chance you may get the new Hello Kitty 777.

I have a similiar situation. OZ or BR from BKK-JFK:
OZ BKK-ICN: A330-300 Business Class
OZ JFK-ICN: B777-200 Business Class (Quadra Smartium seats)
BR BKK-TPE: 330-200 Business Class
BR TPE-NYC: 777-300 Royal Laurel
I think the shorter Asia legs are basically a push, so it comes down to the long legs with the newest generation J product for both carriers. Any opinions or insights appreciated.
