Phuket vs Samui (Oct.)
So I done my research and I know that October is the shoulder season for both of these islands.
Supposedly, Oct is the end of the rainy season in Phuket and the start in Samui. I've also read that usually rain is "stronger" during the start of the rainy season than at the end.
This information has got me leaning toward Phuket in mid Oct. Is this the right choice?
Regards,
Scho

However, tropical weather - almost by definition - is unpredictable.
The closer you are to the end of October, the better Phuket weather will tend to be - as it is about the time the weather changes to clear, sunny, and hot with calm seas.
