Thai language course

Can anyone suggest somewhere I can learn basic Thai in Bangkok? AM looking to stay in BKK for 3 - 4 weeks to learn. Would also be interested in private lessons if this is available.

Not looking to become fluent .. just want to gain a better understanding than I currently have

You can start right now by going to the Learning Thai web site. They have common words and phrases. You click on a word or phrase for male or female and a Thai persons will speak for you. You can keep clicking and it is repeated back to you. They also have the Thai alphabet so you can learn to speak, read and write at the same time FREE
