SIN-BKK-SIN J Class.
Trying to find an inexpensive SIN-BKK-SIN J class ticket. Was wondering if anybody had any suggestions for consolidators or other ideas.
Thanks.
Thanks.

How about transfering to Johore Bahru and taking a discount carrier, or would that just be economy? Not sure that J is absolutely critical on this length of flight, though.

Thank you. J is not critical, but since the rest of the trip is in SQ J thought it would be nice. JB is not an option because we need to connect back onto an already ticketed SIN-DPS flight on the return. Will probably just use miles for both, had thought of maybe buying one using miles for one, but then I have to remind my self that as week as the US$ is, it's still more valuable than UA miles.

Try SK (Scandinavian Airlines). Often very good offers also in J (either on their web-page or www.airfare.com.dg) I flew last month in J. Good service.
BKK-SIN is in the afternoon and SIN -BKK is in the evening.

I have done the SK BKK-SIN-BKK several times in J ..and truly enjoyed it .. not much more than most unrestricted Y fares (I think about US$250 exBKK)
- but still a lot more than Economy at less than half that .. but I enjoy the C service

If you don't have any airlines in particular to travel on, you can travel on Swiss Air at S$500 on J Class.
You can refer to the following website for details as well as to book:

SK gives even gives you EQMs for your status on UA. LX just joined Mileage Plus as a partner, any miles they give you will only count as bonus miles though (so far).
