Shenzhen Question
Are instant visas for Americans/Canadians still available at Lo Wu? I'm headed to HKG this weekend and would like to make a quick trip to Shenzhen.

I read a few archived threads that detailed an "on-again / off-again" situation with the instant visas and was just wondering if anyone has been there from HKG recently...

Just to answer my own question (for future searchers):

Effective 1 Apr 2004, Americans can NOT get instant visas at the Shenzhen Lo Wu crossing. Canadians still can. We learned the hard way.

Also, while the border crossing is open until midnight, the visa office is open only until 10:30pm. I this helps someone!
