Vietnam Visa On Arrival Services - do they work?

Thinking about avoiding the additional embassy fees and using one of the visa on arrival services. Has anyone tried this? Was there an issue at airport check in since you didn't have a visa in your passport? Which service did you use? Thanks.

As someone who visits Vietnam 3 or 4 times a year I personally wouldn't do this. Embassy fees are hardly bank-breaking to be honest, besides the fact that some airlines (SQ in UK do) check your passport for the visa and won't check you in unless you have one.

I just got back from VN last week & used a visa-on-arrival service, $55 all in.
No problem whatsover. What you show to them is a printout of a letter (which the service emails to you) that you are approved for a visa.
PM for any other questions
