SIN side trip in January

I have an extra week in Singapore in late January and want to travel, but unsure of weather and connections. Always interested in Andaman Sea side of Thailand but thinking Bali, other Indonesia locale or Hanoi. All info about weather and connections appreciated. THANKS.

Well, if you really go out into the Andaman Sea, and keep going and going you will wind up in the Maldives, which is an amazing country. You will find scores of resorts with their own islands. January is the high season there, great weather. SQ has nonstops to the capital, Male. Note that most flights tend to arrive and depart in the late evening/early morning hours.
