Sri lanka Driver guide recommendations

Looking for recommendations for a driver or guide for myself for a trip to Sri lanka at the end of November. Thanks in advance!

We used these guys for a pretty wide-ranging two week tour of the island back in 2018 and they were good https://srilankanpersonaldrivers.com/

He stayed at the drivers' accommodation of each of the hotels we stayed at.

For Sri Lanka in November I had a great stay at Amari Colombo right in the heart of the city and used it as a base to explore a lot around the island.

Even though there was severe weather in November this year it has all settled now and everything is operating normally. Sri Lanka is beautiful this time of year.

I recommend spending a couple nights in Colombo itself to see the waterfront, Galle Face Green, quirky cafes in Cinnamon Gardens, and the National Museum. Then head south to Galle Fort for the old Dutch ramparts and boutique shops. The beaches around Unawatuna and Mirissa are perfect for relaxing and swimming. If you enjoy nature and waterfall Ella and Nuwara Eliya in the hill country are breathtaking with cool weather, tea plantations and views from Little Adam's Peak. For wildlife try a safari at Yala National Park.

Amari Colombo made it easy to plan all of that with great service and a central location.

We used Nandika, recommended on another forum, he was excellent.

There were four of us so I wanted a van. These are hard to get in high season due to some government embargo on imports or the like. A van has to come with a driver too, but Nandika can do your tour in his car if need be.

Bear in mind that if you get a price for hotels that you want to stay in from Nandika/other guide the. if guide books it, he gets drivers accomodation. If you book everything, guide/driver normally have to pay.

You can contact him on WhatsApp at +94713861590.
