Requirements for Digital Nomad Visa in Malaysia

Helo Guys,

I am a freelancer and i earn 2000$ average per month. Can you guys tell me which country should i move to? Is malaysia best?

Visa costs and requirements are pretty easy to identify/compare with a minimal amount of googling. Why not make a list and then evaluate the pros and cons of each wrt your interests?

Agree but I am looking for someone who is actually living in malaysia on nomad visa

While there might be a handful of FTers that have done that drill in Malaysia (I don't know), the odds of them seeing this thread are quite low.

Why not focus on reddit or fb groups pertaining to specifically what you're interested in?

Hmmm, I think it can work for sure. Two grand a month is doable if you watch spending, especially in places like Malaysia. The visas are the annoying part though, most of them want higher income and they are short term, so you end up juggling paperwork.

Spending is in your control, taxes are not. If you are from the US, that is where things get tricky fast. I stopped guessing and set Florida as my domicile with SavvyNomad, address and documents sorted, and after that income stability mattered more than chasing the perfect visa.
